Last updated: October 2026 · Service: https://ytcable.net · Operated by <your name or business name>
These terms govern your use of YT-Cable at https://ytcable.net (the "service"). By signing in or otherwise using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.
1. What the service does
YT-Cable reads the list of YouTube channels you subscribe to (with your permission, read-only). If you use the thumbs-up button, it also records your like on YouTube on your behalf, only when you click it and presents them as a cable-box style guide. Videos are played through YouTube's embedded player. The service is a free, independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
2. YouTube Terms of Service
YT-Cable uses YouTube API Services. By using the service you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke the service's access to your Google data at any time at Google security settings.
3. Your account and access
- You sign in with your own Google account and are responsible for activity under it.
- You must be old enough to have a Google account in your country and must not misuse the service.
- You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time with Delete my data (see the Privacy Policy).
4. Acceptable use
Do not: attempt to break, overload, or probe the service; bypass rate limits or quota protections; use the service to scrape or bulk-download YouTube data; access another person's data; use it for anything unlawful; or use it in a way that violates the YouTube Terms of Service. We may limit or suspend access to protect the service, its users, or our YouTube API quota.
5. Content
All videos, channel names, thumbnails, and other content belong to their respective owners and are provided by YouTube. We do not host videos or claim any rights in them. Your choices (custom channels, ordering) are yours; you grant us permission to store and use them only to run the service for you.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". It depends on YouTube and Google services and on a limited daily YouTube API quota, so features may be slow, limited, or unavailable at times. We may change, suspend, or end the service, and may change these terms; if a change is material we will give notice on this page or in the app.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties (express or implied) about the service, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these terms or to protect the service.
9. Governing law
[Owner to fill in: governing law and venue, e.g. "the laws of the State of ____".]
